Llanthony Pontoons L1

Llanthony Pontoons moorings are just outside of Gloucester Docks, which was once a vital port for the transfer of cargoes between the River Severn and the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal. The location is set amongst some of the finest examples of industrial heritage to be seen anywhere on the inland waterways network.

Nearby, the Gloucester Waterways Museum occupies one of the original nineteenth century warehouses and contains the Canal & River Trust's National Collection of historic boats and canal artefacts. Other leisure attractions around the dockside include the shops and restaurants in and around Gloucester Quays, the Regiments of Gloucester Museum, and the Antique Centre.

Our long term moorings are arranged on secure pontoons approximately 95m in length and offer space for up to 6 vessels.
