Barbridge Leisure L1

Situated near Nantwich in Cheshire, Barbridge is an important junction on the inland waterways. It is the meeting point of the main line of the Shropshire Union Canal which links Chester with Wolvehampton and the Middlewich Branch which joins the Trent & Mersey Canal.

The deep cuttings and high embankments which characterise this canal can be enjoyed for miles along with stunning sweeping views towards the Welsh Marshes.

Barbridge Moorings are approximately 225m long and provide space for up to 6 vessels.

Nearest Road

From the A51 Chester Road at Barbridge turn right towards the village, then turn immediately right again into Stokehall Lane. These moorings can be found either side of Bremilows Bridge.

Additional Information

The water points are approx. 200 metres from the moorings. The nearest pump-out and elsan facilities are at Calveley, approx. 3 miles away.

There is no car park at this site so customers must make alternative arrangements.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
