Additional Information

The nearest facilities, including drinking water, elsan disposal and refuse disposal, can be found at Fenny Lock, approximately 250 metres north of the basin. These services are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.

Mooring rings are available for boats moored against the pontoon. There is a stone pathway which runs around the edge of the basin.

There is no designated parking at this site so moorers must make their own arrangements.

There is private footpath access through a small residential development and the site is overlooked by these properties and their fenced gardens.

Access to the site is via a locked gate, next to the towpath lift bridge crossing the entrance to the basin. Keys can be obtained from the mooring manager.

There are several pubs within easy walking distance of the moorings, as well as local shops and amenities. Fenny Stratford is a quarter of a mile away from the site and Bletchley is approximately one mile away.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
