The site is immediately adjacent to Windmill Lane, A4127. The nearest towpath access points are from Windmill Lane, Havelock Road next to Norwood Top Lock to the north of the site, or Green Lane at the bottom of the Hanwell Flight, which is south of the site.

Local bus routes operate in the vicinity of all these access points.

The nearest facilities, including water point, elsan and refuse disposal, are at the Norwood Top Lock sanitary station, approx. 40 minutes' cruise north of the site. These services are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.

Car parking is not available at this site so moorers must make alternative arrangements.

Access to the mooring site is via lock 92, by crossing over the lock gates. Please note, this is the sole access to the mooring site from the towpath.

The access gate requires a bespoke key, available to mooring customers only. Keys can be purchased from the Moorings Manager for a refundable deposit of £50 each. Refunds will be given on return of the key with a valid receipt.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
