Ladybird is made up of 47 refurbished pontoon moorings with electric supply and 3 linear berths, mooring only.

Ladybird Moorings (formerly Toms Moorings) site is a good starting point for boaters wishing to cruise the popular 'Four Counties Ring' - a circular route which includes parts of Cheshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire and the West Midlands.

The streets of Market Drayton have much historic character with a mix of half-timbered, Georgian and Victorian buildings. The streets converge on The Buttercross market shelter and on Wednesdays and Saturdays are filled with market stalls.

The nearest facilities, including toilets, pump out and elsan disposal, are approximately 100m away at Bridge 63 Betton Bridge, on the town center visitor moorings. Facilities are in a service building next to the bridge and are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement

Electricity is supplied to pontoon moorings through Smart Meters where payment is made via an online portal.

Car Parking is available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis. Please ensure you do not park on reserved residential parking bays both in the car park and on the access road.

The Town center can be reached within approximately a 15 min walk or 5 min cycle ride. Tyrley Locks are situated 1.5 miles from Ladybird Moorings.

No Storage available - all items to be stored on-board.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
