Tinsley Marina is situated two miles to the north east of Sheffield and is surrounded by a wealth of leisure, entertainment and cultural attractions as well as the excellent Meadowhall Shopping Centre.

The moorings are arranged across two pounds towards the top of flight of locks on the Sheffield & Tinsley Canal.

The site accommodates up to 33 boats in total, accessed from a mixture of fixed pontoons, in the main, and two hard standing. 12 of the berths have full residential planning consent.

Additional Information

Facilities blocks and / or waste bins are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement

Car Parking - an open car park provided by the local waterway, moorers can use it but they do not have any priority over others at this site

Facilities, excluding electricity, are for the use of all customers and are accessible with a standard CRT key. Electrical bollards are for the sole use of berth holders. Electricity is monitored via Smart Meters where payment is made via an on-line portal.

IMPORTANT NOTES: All customer items must be stored on boats and not on any of the pontoons or surrounding land areas.

A storage box within a locked compound is provided inclusive of mooring price. £50 refundable deposit is required for the storage box compound key.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
