Hormead Wharf (East) L1 Leisure :: Waterside Moorings

Hormead Wharf is a small mooring site in West London on the Grand Union Canal (Paddington Branch).

The site is split into two areas (east and west) and provides space for up to 7 vessels moored in small off-line basins.

The cosmopolitan Harrow Road runs parallel with the canal and provides moorers with a good variety of shops, restaurants and other local amenities. Westbourne Park tube station (Zone 2) is within a 10 minute walk.

Additional Information

Each berth is served with water and a 16amp electricity supply which is fitted with a Smart Metering system where pre-payment is made via an on-line portal.

A telephone socket is also provided which will require a connection to be arranged between the berth holder and telecoms provider.

Rings or cleats are provided for the secure mooring of craft.

There is an elsan facility for permit holders' use only.

Storage facilities are not provided.

All customer items must be stored on boats and not on any of the surrounding land areas/pontoons.

IMPORTANT NOTES: These moorings have the benefit of transferability and therefore are only available when purchasing one of the existing boats on site.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
