Saul Junction is where the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal meets the Stroudwater Canal and was once a great meeting place for ships and crew, boats and boaters from around the world. Today the junction is still popular with boaters, as it is the mid point of the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal. Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, Purton Hulks boat graveyard and Gloucester's historic docks are all within easy reach of this popular mooring site.
