Black Horse Moorings are situated on the Grand Union Canal in Wolverton - part of the Milton Keynes district in Buckinghamshire.
The mooring site is approximately 185m long and currently provides space for up to 10 vessels moored against the towpath.
The site is adjacent to Bridge 76 (Black Horse Bridge), opposite the Black Horse public house, just off the Wolverton Road which runs between Wolverton and New Bradwell. Access to the site is along a private tarmac roadway (designated as a footpath) running down from the Wolverton Road, immediately next to the bridge.
Great Linford and Stantonbury provide local services and are within one mile of the site. Central Milton Keynes is approximately four miles south.

The nearest water and elsan facilities are at Giffard Park Service Moorings, approximately 1 mile south of the site and close to Bridge 78.
Mooring rings are not available at this site so pins will be required.
There is no designated car parking so customers must make alternative arrangements.
