Bathampton is a historic and pretty canalside village located two miles to the east of the World Heritage City of Bath. This towpath mooring site on the Kennet & Avon Canal is 350 metres long and is currently provides space for up to 17 vessels.
The mooring site is in the village of Bathampton, near to Bath Spa. Approach from either the A46 or the A36. Road access to the towpath is from the east side of Bathampton Road Bridge, from Tyning Road.

The nearest refuse disposal point and water tap can be found on the 48hr visitor moorings by Bathampton School, near bridge 183 (Bathampton Road Bridge). The next nearest facilities for water, refuse disposal, pump out and Elsan can be found at Dundas Wharf (approx 3 miles away to the east). Another refuse disposal point and water point can be found at Lock 11, Horseshoe Bridge Lock (approximately two and a half miles away to the west).
There is no dedicated Canal & River Trust parking at this site. There is a limited amount of on street parking in the lane by the school.
Mooring rings are spaced at 5 metre intervals along this site.
All customer items must be stored on their boat and not on any of the surrounding land at the mooring site.
The mooring site has no access restrictions and can be viewed at any time.
