Stonebridge is situated close to Tottenham in North London and within the Lee Valley Regional Park. It's position on the River Lee Navigation provides customers with convenient access to the City or an opportunity to cruise north into the more tranquil Hertfordshire/Essex borders.
The Canal & River Trust provides two secure off-side mooring areas, North and South, which are separated by Stonebridge Lock. The southern site provides space for up to 43 vessels and the northern site 16 vessels.
Access to the site is from an unmarked road sign posted Tottenham Marshes, off the A1055 Watermead Way, between Edmington and Tottenham Hale.
The site is immediately north of Stonebridge Lock and on the offside of the canal.
The facilities block is approximately 200 metres from the site, by the cafe. A CRT pump out is available opposite the facilities. These services are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.
Drinking water and electricity are available from a bollard next to each berth. Electricity is supplied via Smart Meters where payment is made via an on-line portal.
Parking is permitted within the mooring site on a first come, first served basis. A tarmac road runs through the site.
A CRT key is required to access the site. The access gate requires a bespoke key, available to mooring customers only. Keys can be purchased from the Moorings Manager for a refundable deposit of £50 each. Refunds will be given on return of the key with a valid receipt.
There is a 2 metre height restriction barrier on the access road to the site from the Watermead Way.
