The Canal & River Trust offers five long term moorings at the top of the dramatic 30 lock flight in Tardebigge in Worcestershire. The rural and picturesque location is easily accessed being close to the M5 motorway and provides boaters with a good range of cruising options. The Worcs & Birmingham Canal forms part of the 'Stourport Ring' - a 74 mile circular cruise which takes in Worcestershire, the Black Country and Birmingham in the Midlands. Alternatively, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick and Worcester and within a few days' reach.
The moorings are split across two areas. Linear space for up to four vessels is available on the off-side below Lock 58. A further four off-side moorings (with electric) are provided in or adjacent to Tardebigge Basin.
The site is just off the B4184, approximately two miles from Bromsgrove. From junction 1 of the M42 motorway follow the A38 south onto the Bromsgrove by-pass. At the traffic island of the A448 ignore the Redditch turning and instead take the next exit onto the B4184 towards Finstall. After passing through Finstall the mooring site is on the right, just before the bridge over the canal tunnel.
Bromsgrove has a good selection of high street stores, banks and pubs.
