Car Parking - an open car park provided by the local waterway, moorers can use it but they do not have any priority over others at this site
The car park directly next to the moorings holds approximately 8 to 10 cars and is available on a first come, first served basis. There are spaces in another car park adjacent to Woodlesford Lock. All other facilities are shared with passing boaters.
There is a wooden gate next to the lock operation tower which requires a standard CRT key, available from the local office or other waterside outlets at a cost of £7 each. Pedestrian access is through the stymie gate, at the side of the wooden gate. Access to the boats from the small car park is over the tarmac access road and a small grass strip.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
