Additional Information

Facilities block and/or waste bins are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement

Car Parking - an open car park provided by the local waterway, moorers can use it but they do not have any priority over others at this site. The small car park is at the Bulholme Lock end of the site. No caravans/trailers/campervans or motorhomes to be stored on site.

Mooring bollards and rings may need to be shared with neighbouring boats to best manage the water space.

Access to the site from the main road is along a tarmac road which runs adjacent to the moorings.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Aire and Calder Main Line is a commercial waterway and is used by freight vessels as well as pleasure craft. Larger freight traffic can cause some movement of the water space within the moorings as they pass. It is advised that you take adequate precautions by fitting fenders to your boat and securely tying off to the bollards provided.

All customer items must be stored on boats and not on any of the surrounding land areas.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
