Sutton Cheney Wharf L1 is set in a peaceful rural location on the Ashby Canal, just over half a mile from the village of Sutton Cheney. The site is close to the historic Bosworth Battlefield, where Richard III met his fate in 1485. Access is via the A444 from the A5, through Fenny Drayton and Sutton Cheney village. After crossing the canal bridge, turn left into the public car park and follow the footpath under the bridge to reach the moorings.

- The A444 links Nuneaton town with the M42 motorway near Measham. It crosses the A5 Trunk Road two miles south of Atherstone and 6 miles north of the M69 motorway junction.
To reach the site, take the A444 north from the A5 following the direction to Fenny Drayton. Passing through this village, turn right following the sign towards Sutton Cheney. The canal bridge is reached after approximately four miles of reasonably straight road. Turn left onto the public car park after crossing the canal bridge. A short walk under the same bridge leads to the mooring site.

- The site is near to Sutton Cheney Wharf where a number of waterpoints are available. Elsan disposal and waste disposal are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.
There is a cafe here also.
Parking is available in the public Pay & Display car park near the mooring site. One parking permit will be issued free of charge with this berth.
The mooring gate is fitted with a combination lock.
The town of Nuneaton, offering a wide range of shops, banks and public amenities, is approximately seven miles to the south by car. The village of Market Bosworth has a selection of shops and is three miles away by car.
Access to all mooring berths is by way of a loose gravel pathway.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
