Sutton Cheney Wharf L1 Leisure

Situated on the Ashby Canal, Sutton Cheney Wharf is in an attractive rural setting, a little over half a mile from the village of Sutton Cheney in Leicestershire. Close by is the famous Battle of Bosworth Field, a popular visitor attraction, where 'Richard of York gave battle in vain’ back in 1485, ending the War of the Roses.

The Ashby Canal is an unspoilt and lock-free rural canal winding its way through picturesque countryside on the Warwickshire/Leicestershire border.

The linear site is approximately 400m long and provides space for up to 23 vessels.

Please be aware, there are depth issues along sections of the Ashby Canal. Therefore, we recommend customers always assess the site before purchasing a berth.
