Hawkesbury Pump House L1 Leisure

The picturesque Hawkesbury Junction - known locally as Sutton Stop - was constructed in 1802. One of the busiest canal junctions in the country, this is where the Coventry Canal meets the Oxford Canal in Warwickshire.

The Pump House Moorings are situated on the Coventry Canal. The linear mooring site is approximately 275m long and provides spaces for up to 16 vessels moored on the off-side bank.

Additional Information

Facilities are approximately 200m away at Sutton Stop service building. Two footbridges link the site to the facilities. These are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.

A public house is close to the site at Hawkesbury Junction. Bedworth town centre provides good shopping and banking facilities and is approximately two miles away by road.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
