Foxton Village L1 is located just a short walk from the historic Foxton Locks, in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. The site sits 185 metres east of Bridge 4 (Foxton Swingbridge), accessed via Swingbridge Street off Langton Road. Itโ€™s approximately 1.5 miles south of the A6 and within walking distance of Foxton village.

- Elsan disposal are managed by the local waterway team and not part of the mooring agreement

- No car parking available; moorers must make alternative arrangements

- Wide, level stone towpath with grass verge suitable for walking and cycling

The mooring site is 185 metres to the east of Bridge 4, Foxton Swingbridge, in the centre of the village. Access is from Swingbridge Street (off Langton Road) and through the gate next to the bridge. Foxton is approximately 1.5 miles south of the main A6, taking Langton Road.

Additional Information
Facilities, including drinking water, pump-out, rubbish and elsan disposal, are at Market Harborough Basin and Foxton Locks. These facilities are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement. Car parking is not available at this site so moorers must make alternative arrangements. There is a wide level, stone towpath and grass verge which runs the full length of the moorings. This provides a cycle/walking route to Market Harborough. This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring.
