Sellars Bridge Moorings are located four miles to the south west of Gloucester, on the outskirts of Quedgeley and Hardwicke.
This towpath linear site is approximately 150m long. It provides space for up to 6 vessels moored against the towpath.
The mooring site is along School Lane in Hardwick, approximately one mile from the A38 at Quedgeley. Local amenities, including supermarkets, a post office, banks, pubs and restaurants, are available in Quedgeley. There is also a pub on the opposite side of Sellars Bridge.
A water point and refuse disposal are on the towpath near the bridge.
The nearest elsan and pump-out facilities are at Llanthony pontoons, approximately three and a half miles north of the site. There is also a shared toilet facility at Harbour House in Gloucester Docks. All the facilities listed can also be found at Saul Junction, approximately three and a half miles south, where there are also laundry facilities.
There is no dedicated parking at this site. There is a small road side lay-by on the opposite side of the bridge however, this is not recommended for long term / overnight parking. Vehicle access to the towpath is via a gate at the site entrance and is possible for loading and unloading purposes only. The site is accessed from the north side of Sellars Bridge through a metal gate leading onto the towpath.
The mooring site has no access restrictions and can be viewed at any time.
