Sellars Bridge Moorings are located four miles to the south west of Gloucester, on the outskirts of Quedgeley and Hardwicke.
This towpath linear site is approximately 150m long. It provides space for up to 7 vessels moored against the towpath.
The mooring site is along School Lane in Hardwick, approximately one mile from the A38 at Quedgeley. Local amenities, including supermarkets, a post office, banks, pubs and restaurants, are available in Quedgeley. There is also a pub on the opposite side of Sellars Bridge.
A water point and refuse disposal are on the towpath near the bridge. The facilities listed are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.
The nearest elsan and pump-out facilities are at Llanthony pontoons, approximately three and a half miles north of the site. There is also a shared toilet facility at Harbour House in Gloucester Docks. All the facilities listed can also be found at Saul Junction, approximately three and a half miles south, where there are also laundry facilities.
There is no dedicated parking at this site. There is a small road side lay-by on the opposite side of the bridge however, this is not recommended for long term / overnight parking. There is only pedestrian access to the moorings from the towpath, via a metal gate at the towpath access point by Bridge 17 (Sellars Bridge).
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
The mooring site has no access restrictions and can be viewed at any time.
