Bascote Wharf Moorings are situated in a rural location of the Leamington Arm of the Grand Union Canal in Warwickshire.
The historic town of Leamington Spa is just over four miles to the west.
The mooring site is approximately 115m long and provides space for up to 3 vessels moored against the offside bank.
This small site is located where the canal is crossed by the Bascote Road.
Bascote and Long Itchington are the nearest villages, both within one mile of the site, where all local services can be found.
Mooring rings are installed at the site but mooring pins may be needed dependent on boat length and the spacing of rings.
The refuse and parking facility situated nearby are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
All customer items must be stored on boats and not on any of the surrounding land areas
Mooring site can be seen from the towpath - but gate to the site CRT yard is accessed by a CRT key.
