Stoke Bruerne is set in the heart of rural Northamptonshire on the Grand Union Canal. Set off in any direction and you'll find unspoilt countryside, tranquil lanes, pretty villages and wild flowers and birds to watch and enjoy.
The Canal & River Trust provides 6 residential moorings near to the village where there is a good selection of pubs and other local amenities.
The moorings are approximately 50 metres below Lock 20, approximately a quarter of a mile south of Stoke Bruerne village.
Access to the site is from the A508, approximately five miles north of the Old Stratford roundabout. Immediately after Bridge 54 a turning on the right hand side leads down an unmarked road to the site. Pedestrian access to the site is via a footpath over Bridge 54A.
Local services, including two pubs, The Canal Museum and gift shops, are available in Stoke Bruerne village.

Drinking water and electricity are supplied via a newly installed, secure Smart Meter system. Electricity accounts and payments are accessed via the internet.
Refuse bins, elsan disposal and the parking are on the towpath side of the canal. These services are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement”
