Soulbury Three Locks L1 Leisure

Situated close to the small village of Stoke Hammond on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, Soulbury Three Locks provides a convenient place to explore the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside.

The site is approximately 110m long and provides space for up to 7 vessels moored against the off-side bank.

Nearest Road
The moorings are approximately 180 metres below Lock 24, with foot access only along a grassed path from Bridge 107. The locks are just off the road between Stoke Hammond and Leighton Buzzard, the old A4146, next to the Three Locks pub. The road is signposted Great Brickhill/Three Locks Golf Club. Stoke Hammond is approximately one mile north west of the mooring site. Leighton Buzzard is approximately four miles south east.

The nearest refuse disposal is available on the towpath side of the canal, just below the top lock (26), near Bridge 107. Drinking water is available, also on the towpath side, below the bottom lock (24). These services are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement. There is no designated parking at this site but visitor parking is available at Soulbury Three Locks picnic site, next to Bridge 107. There is a concrete edge and grass strip which runs the length of the site which is immediately next to a wooded area. This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring.
