Additional Information

Facilities, including elsan disposal and drinking water, are available immediately south of Bridge 114, approximately 200 metres from the site. There are refuse bins 100 metres south of Bridge 114 at Brampton Wharf, adjacent to the 14 day moorings, and these are shared with visiting boats and the general public. These services are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.

There is no designated car park at this site so moorers must make their own arrangements.

The moorings run along a wide tar and stone towpath, with a grass strip next to the edge.

There is a popular 2 hour 'shoppers' mooring next to the Tesco entrance, immediately adjacent to these moorings.

The towpath was upgraded in 2005 between Leighton Buzzard and Bletchley and is now part of the National Cycle Network. It is also part of the Greensand Ridge Walk.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
