Seabrook Lock on the Grand Union Canal lies deep in beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside approximately six miles from Aylesbury.
The leisure mooring site is approximately 70m long and provides space for 4 vessels moored against the towpath.
The site is just above Lock 34 and is approximately 600 metres south along the towpath from Bridge 123, Brownlow Bridge. The B488, between Marsworth and Cheddington, runs nearest to these moorings with the private access road running from it, approximately 250 metres from the mooring site.
Ivinghoe is approximately one mile south east of the site and Cheddington, which provides some good local services, is just under two miles to the west. Tring is approximately five miles to the south.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Access to the mooring is via land owned by a third party. Please contact the Mooring Manager for further important information before placing a bid on this mooring.
There are no CRT facilities at this site. Services at the adjacent private mooring site may be used by prior arrangement with the owner.
Vehicle access to the site is along a private road off the B488 but car parking is not available so moorers must make alternative arrangements.
There is a grass strip between the canal edge and the hedge which runs along the length of the moorings.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
All customer items must be stored on boats and not on any of the surrounding land areas
Please contact the Mooring Manager to arrange a viewing.
During the period of the coronavirus restrictions, please speak to the Mooring Sales Manager before bidding on or purchasing a new mooring. They will be able to advise on accessibility and availability of the berth and will help to ensure as smooth a transaction as possible
