Brentford Semi-tidal moorings are located on the Grand Union Canal (River Brent) between Thames Lock and Brentford Gauging Lock. The area was once of the the busiest parts of the entire Grand Union Canal as boats travelled up the River Thames and onto Britain's inland waterway network at Brentford.
The mooring site lies adjacent to a large regeneration project which will transform the town over the next few years with new housing, shops and offices being built between the High Street and the River Thames.
The site is approximately 380m long and provides space for up to 6 vessels moored against the towpath.

Car parking is not available at this site so customers must make their own arrangements.
The mooring site is on an open towpath accessed via steps or stepped ramp from High Street, Brentford
The length of canal where this mooring site is located is semi-tidal so water levels do fluctuate notably. Allowance for this should be made when mooring, and please note that access may not be possible or advisable during extremely high tides when the towpath has been known to flood. Fenders are fitted to prevent moored craft drifting over the towpath on such occasions.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
