Wootton Rivers is a pretty village in Wiltshire composed almost entirely of timber-framed thatched houses. It's location on the Kennet & Avon Canal provides boaters with a good location from which to explore a variety of attractions. These include the historic market town of Marlborough, the ancient sites of Stonehenge and Avebury, the Neolithic mound of Silbury Hill, Savernake Forest and Hungerford (well known for its antique shops).
Also nearby is Devizes, a thriving market town and home to Wadworth Brewery with a visitor centre and brewery tours. It is also home to the famous flight of 29 locks at Caen Hill.
The mooring site is approximately 166m long and provides space for up to 9 vessels moored against the towpath.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
