Lying to the north west of Preston, Pendle Moorings are positioned on a rural stretch of the Lancaster Canal but within easy reach of the M55 motorway.
The site is approximately 165m long and provides space for up to 20 vessels moored against the towpath.

The nearest Canal & River Trust facilities, including water, toilets and elsan, are at Bilsborrow, approximately four and a half miles north of the mooring site.
Mooring rings are installed at the site but mooring pins may be needed dependent on boat length and the spacing of rings.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
