Linking Preston to Kendal, the Lancaster Canal is one of the country’s few coastal canals. Built along the natural lie of the land it offers 41 miles of lock free cruising - the longest stretch in the country.
Moss Lane Moorings are located within the charming market town of Garstang. The off-side mooring is approximately 300m long and provides space for up to 21 boats.
Access to the site is via Moss Lane, off the A6. Garstang town centre, where a wide selection of shops and local amenities are available, is approximately 5 minutes away from the site.

Canal & River Trust facilities including water, refuse, elsan, pump out and toilets are immediately adjacent to the mooring site, on the north side of bridge 63. The facilities are shared with passing boaters.
There is no car park at this site so customers must make alternative arrangements.
Mooring rings are installed at this site but mooring pins may be needed dependant on boat length and the spacing of rings.
A CRT Yale key is required to access the site.
