Situated within idyllic west Lancashire countryside in the small town of Burscough, Crabtree Moorings are conveniently situated 15 miles from Preston and within 20 miles of Liverpool. The site on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal has convenient transport links to the coast and an array of leisure and shopping attractions within easy reach.
The linear mooring site is approximately 290m long and provides space for up to 20 vessels moored to the off-side bank.

The pathway along the moorings is a public right of way.
Car parking is not available at this site so customers must make their own arrangements.
Mooring rings are installed on site but mooring pins may be needed dependent on boat length and the spacing of rings.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
