Located in idyllic west Lancashire countryside close to the small town of Burscough, Ring O Bells Moorings are conveniently situated being roughly half way between Liverpool and Preston. The site on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal is also close to a good offering of shops, restaurants and other local amenities.
The linear mooring site is approximately 85m long and provides space for up to 6 vessels moored against the towpath.
Access to the site is from Ring O Bells Lane, via Briars Lane.
There are steps down onto the towpath at Bridge 34, Ring O Bells Bridge, adjacent to the Ring O Bells Pub.
The nearest facilities, including water, refuse, elsan and toilets, are at Burscough Bridge, approximately one mile west of the mooring site.
Car parking is not available at this site so customers must make alternative arrangements.
Mooring rings are installed along this site but pins may be required dependent on boat length and spacing for rings.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
The mooring site has no access restrictions and can be viewed at any time. Please have consideration for the other moorers on site.
