Rufford is a small village in West lancashire approximately 5 miles from Ormskirk which has excellent transport links to Southport, Preston and Liverpool. The moorings on the offside are approximately 50m long and provides space for up to 3 boats.

On-site facilities including refuse, showers, toilets, water, elsan and pump-out are for the use of all customers. These facilities are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement
There is also a small car park however spaces for mooring customers cannot be guaranteed. The three mooring berths have smart meter electricity bollards where payment is made via an on-line portal.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
