Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Govilon is a small Welsh village located between Llanfoist and Gilwern, near to Abergavenny in north Monmouthshire.
Though isolated from the rest of the Trust's 2,000 mile network, the Mon & Brec as it is popularly known, is rated as one of the prettiest to be found anywhere on the waterway system.
These moorings are also known as The Chapel moorings and the site is approximately 100m long, providing mooring space for up to 8 vessels, moored against the off-side bank.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
