The picturesque Hawkesbury Junction - known locally as Sutton Stop - was constructed in 1802. One of the busiest canal junctions in the country, this is where the Coventry Canal meets the Oxford Canal in Warwickshire.
The linear mooring site is situated on the Oxford Canal. Approximately 210m long it provides spaces for up to 9 vessels moored on the off-side bank.
The site is protected by fencing and a padlocked gate. Keys are available to berth holders only for a refundable deposit of 50 pounds. Deposits will be refunded when keys are returned with a valid receipt.

The site is a 5.5 mile cruise from Coventry city Canal Basin. Located in Exhall it is a 2 mile drive from Bedworth town centre and 1.5 miles from junction 3 of the M6 motorway. From the motorway junction take the B4113 towards Bedworth. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights into Black Horse Road, following the road to the roundabout. Go over the canal bridge (controlled by traffic lights). Turn left immediately after the canal bridge into Sutton Stop, the access road to the Canal & River Trust car park. The moorings are almost opposite the old lock keepers cottage.

The site is approximately 150 metres from Sutton Stop service building where the listed facilities can be found. The car park is adjacent to the service building and has limited space.
Please be aware, the aforementioned facilities and parking are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.
Bedworth town centre offers a good selection of shops, supermarkets, banks, a post office, fast food outlets and a library. There is also a public house close to the site.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
