- The mooring site is in the centre of Ansty village. The B4065 (Main Road) leads from junction 2 of the M6 motorway, approximately 1 mile south west of the village. The moorings can be accessed from Grove Road, off Main Road. The site runs parallel to Grove Road, at the top of the embankment. There are some local services available in Ansty, including a pub and a hotel. At the junction of the M6 there is a retail park, with a large supermarket. Coventry city centre is less than 5 miles away from the site.

- There is a water point in the middle of the site, just north of Bridge 14, for the use of all boaters. The site is split into two sections. The nearest Elsan and refuse disposal are approximately three miles north of the site, at Sutton Stop, Hawkesbury Junction. All facilities mentioned are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement. There is no designated car park at this site so moorers must make alternative arrangements. This site is intended for leisure use. Overnight stays and occasional longer visits are welcome, but it is not suitable for full-time residential use and lacks planning consent or infrastructure for long-term living What3Words: ///brains.face.follow
