Newbold is located directly north of Rugby on the Oxford Canal in Warwickshire. The site is located close to the M6 and provides good access for boaters wishing to travel north on to the Coventry Canal. Being close to Braunston and the junction with the Grand Union Canal it also opens up opportunities to cruise to Market Harborough and Foxton in Leicestershire.
The site is approximately 200m long and provides space for up to 6 vessels moored against the towpath.

- The site is immediately north of Bridge 51, Greens Bridge, where the Brownsover Road crosses the canal. The B4112 joins the Brownsover Road in the centre of Newbold-On-Avon. The towpath can be accessed from The Barley Mow pub car park.
The village centre of Newbold is approximately 500 metres west of the mooring site and provides local services, including a post office. Rugby town centre is approximately 2 miles south.
During the period of the Corona Virus restrictions, please speak to the mooring sales manager before bidding on or purchasing a new mooring. They will be able to advise on accessibility and availability of the berth and help to ensure as smooth a transaction as possible

- Drinking water can be found approximately 400 metres north of the mooring site. The nearest elsan/refuse disposal point is at Hillmorton Locks approximately 3.5 miles south.
The aforementioned facilities are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.
There are motorbike barriers on the towpath, at the southern end of the mooring site and just north of Bridge 50, near the water point.
There is no designated car park at this site so customers must make alternative arrangements.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
