But each August, this tranquil village transforms into a lively hub as it hosts Fairport’s Cropredy Convention—a much-loved annual festival of folk and rock music that brings the community and visitors together for a weekend of unforgettable entertainment.

- The mooring site is approx half a mile south of Bridge 153, Wharf Road Bridge, in Cropredy village and 40 metres north of Bridge 154. Cropredy is approx 1 mile from the main A423, Southam to Banbury road, and is well signposted.
On the south side of the village there is a private road, adjacent to the village school, which gives access to the moorings. Bridge 154 is approx 450 metres along this road. Access to the site is also available along the towpath from Bridge 153.
Cropredy is a popular village, approx 4 miles north of Banbury, with excellent amenities. There is a village website which provides further information.

- The nearest facilities are at the Canal & River Trust yard on the offside of the canal, immediately south of Bridge 153. Facilities include a winding hole, drinking water, toilet, elsan disposal and rubbish disposal and are for the use of all boaters and are provided by and under the control of the local waterway - They do not form part of the mooring agreement.
This site is 200 metres long. A stone towpath runs between Bridges 153 and 154 with a narrow grass strip between the path and the hedge.
In August each year, the Fairport Convention Festival is held in and around the village. During this time the area surrounding the mooring site is likely to be congested and parking may be difficult.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
