The site is approximately 250m long and provides space for up to 10 vessels moored against the towpath.

- The nearest facilities with drinking water, elsan and refuse disposal, is within half a mile - south of the site, close to the town centre and just below Lock 29. These facilities are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement. Sovereign Wharf Narrowboats, just over a quarter of a mile away to the south, also has facilities. There is no car parking at this site so moorers must make their own arrangements. This site is intended for leisure use. Overnight stays and occasional longer visits are welcome, but it is not suitable for full-time residential use and lacks planning consent or infrastructure for long-term living What3Words: ///bake.echo.soda
