Banbury Tramway L1 Leisure

Banbury Tramway Moorings are located in the vibrant medieval market town of Banbury, right on the banks of the Oxford Canal. This central location provides boaters with an ideal base to enjoy the town’s rich history, local shops, markets, and charming canal-side atmosphere.

From here, boaters can explore the scenic countryside and the winding route of the South Oxford Canal, with plenty of opportunities for peaceful cruising. The site also serves as a great starting point for a variety of circular routes along both the Oxford and Grand Union Canals.

With excellent connections by water and road, popular destinations such as Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Oxford are all within easy reach—whether you’re cruising or travelling by car. Banbury Tramway Moorings offer the perfect balance of convenience, character, and countryside charm.
