Gunpowder Wharf Moorings are situated within half a mile of the village of Kidlington ~ approximately 9 kilometres north of Oxford City Centre. The site is between Sparrowgap Briidge (Bridge 223) and Langford Lane Bridge (Bridge 224) This is a perfect location for exploring the Oxfordshire countryside and accessing the River Thames in Oxford.
The site is 60 metres long and provides space for up to 3 boats.

This small mooring site is approximately half a mile from the village of Kidlington and is within 10 miles of Oxford city centre.
The busy A4260 runs alongside the site and there is a very frequent bus service into Oxford.

The nearest facilities, including drinking water, elsan and refuse disposal, are at Langford Lane mooring site, approximately 200 metres south along the towpath. Facilities are for the use of all boaters.
Mooring rings are installed at this site but mooring pins may be needed dependent on boat length and the spacing of the rings.
