Cumberland Basin L1 Leisure

Set on the northern fringe of Regent's Park, Cumberland Basin moorings occupy what remains of the old limb off the Regent's Canal which used to see cargoes of hay brought to Cumberland Market, formerly located near the current site of Euston Station.

Five residential berths are accommodated in the basin, with eleven leisure moorings along the mainline canal.

Well located for local amenities and public transport, the site is within a short walk of Camden Lock Market, London Zoo and is on the doorstep of the stunning Regent's Park, as well as being very well positioned for exploring the wider city including by boat.

An established mooring, the craft here have a historic right of successive assignability and so may be sold on the mooring meaning vacancies do not commonly arise.

This is partly a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
