Situated in Islington, Wharf Road is well located for the amenities and activity of Upper Street.
The Bridgeside Lodge care home is situated next to the mooring site and some noise may be noted from the facility. In turn, mooring customers must not negatively impact the residents of the care home.
There are two business boats based at the mooring site. The boats are skippered trip boats but the business is not operated from the site.

Each berth is served by shore electricity, water and telecoms, with an elsan for permit holders' use only.
This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
