Calveley Towpath L1 Leisure

Calveley is a small Georgian village which lies 5 miles north west of Nantwich in Cheshire. The moorings provide boaters with great opportunities to explore the full extent of the Shropshire Union Canal (or 'Shroppie' as its known). The deep cuttings and high embankments which characterise this part of the canal network can be enjoyed for miles along with stunning sweeping views towards the Welsh Marshes.

Some local amenities can be found in the small village of Calveley with a wider choice of restaurants, pubs and shops available in Nantwich.

In total, the Trust manages 29 moorings in Calveley which are spread across three areas, some sited on the towpath and some against the off-side bank.
