Beeston Lock Offside L1 Leisure

This site is on Canal Side which can be reached from the A6005 Queens Road, via Station Road and then Meadow Road, or by following the signs to Beeston Marina.

The mooring site is approximately 1.5 miles south east of Beeston town centre where services including shops, banks, chemists and a post office can be found. Nottingham city centre is approximately 6 miles away.

The shower, toilet and the elsan disposal point are in the facilities block which is located beside Beeston Old Lock. The refuse disposal point is opposite the Lock Cottage. The water point is at the side of the facilities block.

Facilities Block and/or waste bins are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.

Car Parking - an open car park provided by the local waterway, moorers can use it but they do not have any priority over others at this site.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.

There are no viewing restrictions. The site may be viewed at any time from the towpath opposite. Whilst at the site however, please respect the privacy of other moorers.
