Egginton L1 Leisure

Willington village is approximately one and a half miles away and has a number of services available including a supermarket, chemist, pubs, post office and railway station.

Burton on Trent, which is approximately three miles away to the south west, has a post office, banks, restaurants and pubs.

Derby city centre is approximately eight miles away. The mooring site is directly off the A38 Derby to Lichfield Road.

The nearest Canal & River Trust facilities, including elsan, water and refuse disposal, are at Willington, approximately one and a half miles away from the site. There is also a winding hole at Willington.

Car parking is available at this site but is very limited.

Facilities Block and/or waste bins are provided by and under the control of the local waterway, they do not form part of the mooring agreement.

Car Parking - an open car park provided by the local waterway, moorers can use it but they do not have any priority over others at this site.

A CRT key is required to acess the mooring site. This can be purchased via the online shop: https://shop.canalrivertrust.org.uk/shop.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
