Nestled in a peaceful rural setting, Findern L1 is a linear mooring site located approximately six miles southwest of Derby and close to Burton upon Trent. The site sits off Heath Lane, with access through the Nadee Restaurant car parkโ€”moorers can use the dedicated parking area in the top right corner.

The nearest Canal & River Trust facilities, including elsan and refuse disposal, are at Willington, approximately one mile away from the site. A winding hole is also available at Willington. This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring.
