Access
The site is secured by a padlocked gate which requires a standard BW key.
Elsan & Waste
- Elsan disposal is located at Grand Sluice Lock (approximately 400m away).
- Elsan disposal and/or waste bins are provided by and under the control of the local waterway and do not form part of the mooring agreement.
Car Parking
There is some car parking approximately 400m away for general public use. Spaces cannot be reserved for moorers.
An open car park is provided by the local waterway. Moorers may use it, but they do not have any priority over other users at this site.
Seasonal Water Level Changes
The Environment Agency lowers the level of the River Witham during the winter months for flood alleviation. Craft moored at the site may therefore be grounded during the winter period.
