East Wick Leisure Moorings

London’s visitor destination, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, is a place unlike any other. Visitors to the Park are able to enjoy beautiful parklands and waterways, world-famous sporting venues, arts and events and spectacular views from the ArcelorMittal Orbit.

The East Wick mooring site is located next to ‘Here East’ – the digital quarter for east London. This major development builds on the creative and entrepreneurial heritage of Hackney Wick, creating a thriving commercial space providing more than 7,500 jobs and a vibrant focal point for the local community, with a pedestrianized square, cafés, restaurants and bars.

Nearby on the Waterworks River, is the cultural and education quarter called ‘Olympicpolis’ which includes a new Victoria & Albert museum, University College London, University of the Arts London (UAL), Sadler’s Wells.

The River Lee Navigation and the area of East Wick provide an extremely attractive proposition for boating customers looking to find a mooring.

Additional Information

The East Wick mooring site is for leisure use only. Customers are required to submit a current council tax bill and signed Site Rules before a mooring permit will be granted at this site.

Storage facilities are not provided.

All customer items must be stored on boats and not on any of the surrounding land areas.

This is a leisure site and is determined by us to be a mooring site for the storage of boats between leisure use, customers may well spend weekends on this site, and occasionally longer periods, but it is not sold as, or intended to be suitable for long term residential use. This site does not have local authority planning consent for residential use, neither does it have the level of facilities and service expected of such a mooring. As such the offer that we have is only intended to meet the needs of a leisure boater.
