Directions

🧭 By Car

  • From the North (Grantham/Nottingham): Take the A52 to the A46 southbound. Follow signs to Leicester city centre, then head toward Belgrave Gate and turn onto Memory Lane.
  • From the South (M1/M69): Exit at Junction 21 and follow signs for Leicester city centre. Use the inner ring road to reach Belgrave Gate, then turn onto Memory Lane.
  • From the East (A47): Head west toward Leicester, join the inner ring road, and follow signs to Belgrave Gate. Memory Lane is accessed from this route.

🚶 On Foot or by Bike

  • Memory Lane is a short walk from Leicester College – St. Margaret’s Campus and Lee Circle.
  • The area is well connected with cycle‑friendly routes and pedestrian access from the city centre.

🚆 By Train

From Leicester Railway Station, it’s approximately a 20‑minute walk or a short taxi ride. Head north toward Belgrave Gate and continue to Memory Lane.

Mooring Agreement & Application Processing

Start Dates

  • Auction listings: The mooring agreement is scheduled to begin 15 days after the auction closing date unless an alternative start date is stated in the vacancy details.
  • Buy It Now listings: The mooring agreement is scheduled to begin 2 weeks after the Buy It Now purchase date unless otherwise specified.

Application & Invoicing

Your mooring invoice will only be issued once your application has been fully processed and all requirements have been met.

  • ✔ Capability to navigate on any Trust waterways where it will be used
