Trent Lock L1 is located near Long Eaton, at the junction of the River Trent, River Soar, Trent & Mersey Canal, and Erewash Canal — a meeting point affectionately known as Waters Meet. The site lies at the end of Lock Lane, off the B6540 Tamworth Road, just before the railway level crossing.
